The curtain airbag system consists of one roof frame airbag on each side of the vehicle. It is identified by the AIRBAG label on the roof pillars.

The curtain airbag system deploys in a side collision of a certain severity. The ignition must be switched on.

The inflated airbags cushion the impact, thereby significantly reducing the risk of head injury in a side collision

Caution

Do not place any part of the body or any object in the airbag deployment area.

The hooks in the roof frame grab handles may only be used to hang light garments, without hangers. Do not keep objects in these garments.
