Arming

Pull the parking brake lever fully up to immobilise the vehicle.

Disarming

Pull the parking brake lever up slightly, press the button, then lower the lever fully.

While driving, the illumination of this
warning lamp and of the STOP warning lamp, accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the multifunction display, indicates that the parking brake is applied or not fully released.

When parking on a slope, turn the wheels to block them against the kerb, apply the parking brake and engage a gear.
