  • Remove the prop rod from its clip.
  • Refit the prop rod in its position.
  • Lower the bonnet and release it near the end of its travel.
  • Pull on the bonnet to check that it is properly latched.
The position of the internal release lever prevents the bonnet from being opened while the front left door is open.

When the engine is hot, handle the external bonnet release lever and bonnet prop with care (risk of burns).
