Speed limiter function

It prevents the vehicle from exceeding the speed set by the driver (minimum speed of 30 km/h).

These operations must be carried out with the engine running.

Selecting the function

• Set dial 1 to position LIMIT (Speed limiter). The speed limiter is not yet active. By default the display shows:

Cancelling the function

• Set dial 1 to position 0 or CRUISE (Cruise control), or switch off the ignition to deactivate the system. The last programmed speed remains in memory.

Storing a speed

This speed can be stored without activating the speed limiter.

Pressing buttons 2 and 3 decreases or increases the speed.

Short press: +/- 1 km/h

Long press: +/- 5 km/h

Press and hold: continuous increase or decrease of the value in steps of 5 km/h.

Activating / deactivating the speed limiter

A first press of button 4 activates the speed limiter, a second press deactivates it.

With the speed limiter activated, the display shows (e.g. at 110 km/h):

When driving
down a steep hill or accelerating hard, the speed limiter, which does not act on the brakes, cannot prevent the vehicle from exceeding the set speed.

The speed limiter can in no way replace compliance with speed limits, nor driver vigilance and responsibility.

The driver must remain attentive and keep full control of the vehicle.

Exceeding the set speed

Pressing the accelerator further to exceed the set speed will have no effect unless you press firmly past the detent point.

The speed limiter temporarily deactivates and displays the set speed (e.g. at 110 km/h):

Note: the speed also flashes
when the speed limiter cannot prevent the vehicle from exceeding the set speed (on a steep downhill or during hard acceleration).

To reactivate the speed limiter, release the accelerator to slow down below the set speed.

System operation check

In the event of a speed limiter fault, the stored speed is erased and the dashes flash for a few seconds:

To avoid interference under the pedals:

• make sure the floor mat is correctly positioned,
• never stack several floor mats.
