Underinflation detection

Sensors monitor tyre pressure while driving and trigger a warning in the event of a fault.

Deflated tyre

Warning light on the instrument cluster display.

It is accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the multifunction display identifying the affected wheel.

If this warning light comes on, have the tyre pressures checked as soon as possible.

Punctured wheel

Warning light on the instrument cluster display.

The illumination of this warning light, accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the multifunction display identifying the affected wheel, is followed by the illumination of the STOP warning light.

Stop immediately, avoiding any sudden steering or braking manoeuvres.

Replace the damaged wheel (punctured or severely deflated) and have the tyre pressures checked as soon as possible.

Sensor(s) not detected or faulty

Warning light on the instrument cluster display.

It is accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the multifunction display indicating that one (or more) wheel(s) is no longer detected or that there is a system fault.

Consult a PEUGEOT dealer to replace the faulty sensor(s).

Note: this message also appears when one of the wheels is removed from the vehicle, for repair, or when one (or more) wheel(s) without a sensor is fitted.

Any repair or tyre change on a wheel fitted with this system must be carried out by a PEUGEOT dealer.

If, during a tyre change, you fit a wheel that is not detected by your vehicle, you must have the system reset by a PEUGEOT dealer.

The underinflation detection system is a driving aid that does not replace driver vigilance and responsibility.

This system does not exempt you from regularly checking the pressure (see the manufacturer's label on the door pillar) of the tyres, to ensure that the vehicle's handling remains optimal and to avoid premature tyre wear, particularly when driving under severe conditions (heavy load, high speed).

Tyre inflation pressure must be checked when cold, at least once a month. Remember to check the pressure of the spare wheel.

The underinflation detection system may be temporarily disturbed by radio emissions of a nearby frequency.
