Upholstery care
A well-maintained vehicle lasts longer. For this reason, regular cleaning of the vehicle interior is recommended.
Always remove stains quickly.
To remove all types of stains, use soapy water (lukewarm if necessary) containing natural soap.
Do not use detergents (dishwashing liquids, powder products, products containing alcohol).
Use a soft cloth.
Rinse and dry.
Instrument panel displays (e.g. instrument cluster, clock, outside temperature display, radio display, multimedia system or multifunction display, etc.)
Use a soft cloth or cotton wool.
If this does not work, use a cloth (or cotton swab) dampened with a mixture of water and soap, then wipe clean with another soft, damp cloth or cotton swab.
After washing, gently wipe the lens with a dry, soft cloth.
Do not use products containing alcohol and/or spray liquids on this area.
Seat Belts
Try to keep them clean.
For their care, use products recommended by our technical services (brand shops), or use lukewarm soapy water and a sponge, then wipe with a dry cloth.
Do not use detergents or bleaches.
Materials (seats, door trim...)
Refresh materials regularly.
Liquid stain
Use soapy water.
Gently blot or lightly dry with a soft cloth (never rub), rinse, and remove the excess.
Solid or paste stain
Immediately and carefully remove the excess solid or paste with a spatula (from the edges towards the centre, to prevent the stain from spreading).
Clean as described for a liquid stain.
Special case of sweets and chewing gum
Place an ice cube on the stain to harden it, then proceed as described for a solid stain.
For advice on interior care or if the result is unsatisfactory, contact an Authorised Renault Partner as soon as possible.Removing/refitting removable original vehicle equipment
If it is necessary to remove equipment items to clean the cabin (e.g. floor mats), refit them afterwards correctly and in the correct position (the driver's mat must be placed on the driver's side) and secure them with the fixings supplied with the equipment (e.g. the driver's mat must always be secured with the fitted clips).
Each time the vehicle is stopped, check that nothing could interfere with driving (jammed pedals, a rucked-up floor mat, etc.).
What to avoid
We strongly advise against placing objects such as deodorant, perfume, etc. near the air vents, as they could damage the dashboard covering.
We strongly advise against using high-pressure cleaners or spray products inside the cabin: if precautions are not taken, they may disrupt the correct operation of electrical or electronic components in the vehicle, among other things.Test yourself
