REMOVAL

Disconnect the battery.

Remove:

• the steering wheel bolt,

• the steering wheel after setting the wheels straight ahead.

WARNING: Follow the recommendations in chapter 88 for handling airbags.

Remove:

• the half-shell screws,

• the visor and the dashboard,

• the control lever block.

Secure the airbag clock spring rotor with adhesive tape.

Remove:

• the two fixing screws of the heating control panel,

• the fuse box mounting screws (five screws),

• the dashboard mounting nuts.

Unclip the dashboard wiring.

Remove the dashboard.

Engine compartment side

Fit Durit pliers and disconnect the quick-release clamps of the heater hoses.

Other version of quick-release clamps.

Fit a deflector and blow out the remaining fluid with compressed air.

Remove:

• the heater hose clamp screw,

• the wiper arms using tool Elé. 1294-01,

• the upper seal of the water box and the outside air intake grille,

• the air blower unit,

• the distribution box fixing screw.
