WARNING

Be sure to record the configurations of the protection and switching unit using the diagnostic tool.

REMOVAL

Unité de protection et de commutation
  • Remove the engine covers.
  • Disconnect the battery.
  • Remove:
  • the battery,
  • the upper part of the interconnection box,
  • the screw (1).
  • Disconnect the connectors (2).
Unité de protection et de commutation
  • Disconnect the remaining connectors.

Note: To unlock connector (3), operate the lock (4).

INSTALLATION

  • Refit in the reverse order of removal.
WARNING

The alternator type must be configured when replacing the protection and switching unit (see Chapter Starting - Charging).

  • TG11 110 VALEO
  • SG12 VALEO
  • LIE8 150 BOSCH
  • SG15L VALEO
