Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the ASCC ECU connector (A).
  3. Remove the ASCC ECU (C) after removing the mounting nut (B).

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Adjustment

AEB Variant Coding Procedure. Since the Advanced Smart Cruise Control ECU is integrated with the AEB unit, perform the "AEB Variant Coding Procedure" when replacing the Advanced Smart Cruise Control ECU. (Refer to Brake System – "Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) System".)
