Front Bumper Cover Repair Procedures

Replacement

Wear gloves to protect your hands.

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or a trim tool, wrap the tool with protective tape and apply protective tape to the surrounding parts to prevent damage. Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove the interior trim parts so as not to damage the surface. Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

   Loosen the upper front bumper mounting clips.

   Loosen the lower front bumper mounting clips.

   Loosen the mounting clips and screw on the front bumper side (A), then disconnect the sides.

   Remove the front bumper by pulling the upper edge of the front bumper upward, then pulling it out.

   When pulling out the front bumper, the side of the front bumper may be damaged by the protrusion.

   Disconnect the front bumper main connector (A).

   Remove the front bumper cover (A).

   Install in the reverse order of removal.

   Make sure the connector is properly connected. Replace any damaged clips.
