Description

The knee airbag (KAB) is installed in the lower part of the instrument panel and protects the driver in the event of a frontal collision. The SRSCM determines whether and when to deploy the KAB.
Never attempt to measure the resistance of the airbag module circuit (initiator), even if using the specified tester. If the circuit resistance is measured by a tester, accidental airbag deployment may cause serious injury.
