Power Door Mirror Actuator Repair Procedure

Inspection

   Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

   Remove the front door inside quarter trim panel (A).

   Disconnect the power outside mirror connector from the wiring harness.

   Apply battery voltage to each terminal as shown in the table, and check that the mirror operates correctly. [Mirror Control (LH/RH)]

   [BSD Indicator]

   

   [Mirror Heater]

   

   [Side Repeater Lamp]

   The body electrical system can be quickly diagnosed for faulty parts using the Global Diagnostic System (GDS). The GDS provides the following information.

   1. Self-Diagnosis: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) check and display
   2. Current Data: Check the system input/output status.
   3. Actuation Test: Check the system operating status
   4. Additional Functions: Other Controls such as System Option and Zero Point

   Select "Vehicle Model" and the system to be checked to inspect the vehicle with the tester.

   Select "Body Control Module (BCM)" to check the driver seat or the Door Module Assist (DDM/ADM).

   Select the "Current Data" menu to check the current input/output status. The input/output data for the sensors related to the driver seat or assist door module (DDM/ADM) can be checked.

   If you force-check the power door lock operation, select "Activation Check".
