  • Never drive the vehicle with the head restraints removed.
  • Do not attempt to adjust the head restraints while driving.

Head restraints are designed to reduce the risk of neck injury in an accident. Adjust the head restraint so that its top edge is as close as possible to the top of the user's ears.

To raise the head restraint, pull it up until it clicks into place. To lower it, press the head restraint down while pressing the lock release lever. If the head restraint must be removed (for cleaning, replacement, etc.), press the lock release lever and pull the head restraint out completely.
