DTC P1615 Communication Error from Distance Control ECU to ECM

DTC U1101 Lost Communication with Distance Control ECU

DESCRIPTION

The distance control ECU receives information about the area in front of the vehicle from the laser sensor and then sends a brake control demand signal (deceleration demand) and diagnosis signals, such as laser sensor grime signals or laser sensor malfunction signals, to the ECM.

 While the dynamic laser cruise control is either preparing for operation or operating, if communication data from the distance control ECU is logically inconsistent for a certain amount of time, the ECM records this logical error code

 While the dynamic laser cruise control is either preparing for operation or operating, if communication data from the distance control ECU is invalid for a certain amount of time, the ECM records this communication cut off code

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT: This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, if there are any malfunctions in the communication circuit, one or more DTCs in the CAN communication system are output.
