DTC U0122 Lost Communication with Vehicle Dynamics Control Module

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU sends signals such as cruise control cancel demand signals and brake operation demand (from ECM) response signals to the ECM when the dynamic laser cruise control system is in operation.

 While the dynamic laser cruise control is either preparing for operation or operating, if communication data from the skid control ECU is logically inconsistent for a certain amount of time, the ECM records this logical error code

 While dynamic laser cruise control is either preparing for operation or operating, if communication data from the skid control ECU is invalid for a certain amount of time, the ECM records this communication cut off code

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT: This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, if there are any malfunctions in the communication circuit, one or more DTCs in the CAN communication system are output.
