INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR

(a) Install the yaw rate and acceleration sensor to the bracket with the 2 nuts. Torque: 5 N·m {51 kgf·cm, 44 in·lbf}

(b) Install the yaw rate and acceleration sensor with bracket with the 2 bolts. Torque: 13 N·m {127 kgf·cm, 9 ft·lbf} NOTICE: Be sure to insert the yaw rate and acceleration sensor claw into the stopper hole while installing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor. Do not damage the yaw rate and acceleration sensor. Make sure that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor is installed securely.

(c) Connect the connector to the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

NOTICE:

Make sure that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor connector is connected securely.

2. INSTALL NO. 4 CENTER MEMBER FLOOR REINFORCE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the No. 4 center member floor reinforce sub-assembly with the 7 bolts. Torque: 19 N·m {194 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf}

(b) Return the floor carpet assembly to an original state.

3. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

7. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

10. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

11. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

13. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

14. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

15. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX CARPET

16. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Seat Heater System)

17. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for Manual Seat)

HINT:

Refer to the instructions for Installation of the front seat assembly LH (See page ).

19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for Power Seat)

HINT:

Refer to the instructions for Installation of the front seat assembly LH (See page )

20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat)

HINT:

Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Power Seat)

HINT:

Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

22. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See page ).

23. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
