Note The illustration shows a left-hand drive vehicle. The removal and installation procedure is identical for both versions.

Removing

  • Remove dash panel central tube → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
  • Remove dust and pollen filter → Chapter.
  • Disconnect electrical connector -4- and lay wiring harness to one side.
  • Loosen heater and air conditioning unit and pull it slightly towards front.
  • Remove bolts -2-.
  • Release retaining tab -1--arrow A-.
  • Swivel the air intake housing -3- upwards -arrow B- and disengage.

Installing

Install in reverse order.
