Removing

Pyrotechnic components may trigger unintentionally.Risk of injury.Discharge any static charge accumulated in your body by briefly touching striker plate for door.
  • Remove driver side knee airbag → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.69.
  • Remove bolt -2-.
  • Remove footwell vent on driver side -1-.

Installing

  • Install in reverse order.

Specified torques:
Removing and installing driver side footwell vents, RHD vehicles
Component Specified torque
Self-tapping screw 4.2 x 16 1,5 N·m
Knee airbags; Assembly overview - knee airbag → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.69.
