Removing
  • Disconnect electrical connector -2-.
  • Unscrew nut -1- and bolts -4- for bracket.
Removing and installing Blind Spot Monitor control unit J1086/J1087
  • Remove Blind Spot Monitor control unit -J1086-/-J1087- together with bracket -1-.
  • Remove Blind Spot Monitor control unit -J1086-/-J1087--2- from bracket -1-.

Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Note

Normally, the Blind Spot Monitor is calibrated dynamically (automatically).

Static calibration is only necessary if entries have been recorded in the event memory.
