Remote Control of the Vehicle

1. Open the Hyundai Digital Key app on your smartphone and select the vehicle.

2. If your app allows, press the connect button and use the remote control functions.

Control remoto con llave digital

You can control several functions, including locking/unlocking the doors, turning panic mode on/off, remote start/remote stop, and tailgate opening.

You cannot lock the vehicle with the Hyundai Digital Key app if:

• The engine start/stop button is in the ACC or ON position.
• Any door is open.

The remote control connection is automatically disconnected after 5 minutes.

Arranque remoto mediante llave digital

Using the Hyundai Digital Key app on your phone, press the door lock button and then press the remote start button (buttons must be held for approximately 4 seconds). If all doors of your vehicle are closed (including the hood and tailgate), the engine will automatically turn off.

When remote start is activated, the hazard lights flash twice and the engine starts. Also note the following:

• The climate control system turns on using the settings you used last in the vehicle.
• To turn off the engine, press the remote engine stop button in the Hyundai Digital Key app.
• The engine continues to run for about 10 minutes and then turns off automatically.
• To keep the engine running, place your smartphone on the authentication panel (wireless charging pad) in the vehicle while the engine is running.

• If your windows have metallic tinted film, this may cause poor Bluetooth connection or degrade digital key performance.
• Only one user should use the remote control function at a time. If several users operate the remote control function simultaneously, communication between the digital key and the vehicle may cause the command to fail. Connect and operate the remote control function only for the necessary user.
• When using the remote control operation and app, the driver (remote control user) must leave the vehicle after confirming that the doors are locked (the horn sounds once and the hazard lights flash).
• La función de control remoto de Hyundai: la aplicación Digital Key permite controlar el vehículo desde una distancia determinada. Si la llave digital o el vehículo están fuera de la distancia de funcionamiento, la función de control remoto puede desactivarse o cancelarse.
• Si la llave digital (llave del smartphone) está demasiado lejos del vehículo, la señal del teléfono móvil es débil, la conexión Bluetooth es deficiente o el conductor con la llave se aleja del vehículo, la función de control remoto puede no funcionar.
• Si el control remoto se usa donde la señal móvil es débil, la conexión Bluetooth es deficiente debido a varios dispositivos Bluetooth o hay objetos como metal u hormigón, la respuesta puede retrasarse o la distancia de funcionamiento puede reducirse. No cubra el smartphone con la mano ni coloque otros dispositivos que puedan causar interferencias de frecuencia. Esto puede provocar un funcionamiento deficiente.
• Si el control remoto no está disponible, use la función NFC para bloquear o desbloquear las puertas.
• Tenga cuidado de no pulsar accidentalmente los botones del control remoto en la aplicación de llave digital.

La aplicación Hyundai Digital Key muestra información del vehículo, como la conducción o el estado de las puertas.

• Seleccione el vehículo y toque la imagen del vehículo. Aparecerá la página de información del vehículo.
• Los datos mostrados del vehículo pueden diferir ligeramente del estado actual del vehículo.
