Remote control is required when the electric fuel pump must supply fuel with the engine switched off.

PROCEDURE

1. Remove fuel pump fuse No. 28 from the fuse box (fifth fuse from the top; refer to the illustration).

2. Insert the remote control flat connector into the fuse contacts in the fuse box.

3. Connect the remote control alligator clip to the positive (+) battery terminal.

4. If the remote control push-button switch is pressed, the fuel pump must run and be audible.
