Removal and Installation of Heater or Air Conditioner Control Unit

REMOVAL
1. Release the control unit (1). To do this, insert two trim tools (2) into the locations shown in the illustration on the left and right sides and press the spring clips (3).

* The trim tools must be inserted exactly at the locations shown in the illustration, applying some force. If the control unit cannot be removed this way, remove the center console and then move the unit rearward.

2. Remove the control unit.
3. Release and remove the multi-pin connector (1). To do this, press the lock (2) down and tilt the locking clip (3) to the side. Refer to the illustration. The switch is then removed upward.

4. Release the other connectors.

INSTALLATION
1. Mate and lock the connectors.
2. Install the multi-pin connector (1). Connect it using the locking lever (3). Lock the locking lever (3). Check that the connection is secure. Refer to the illustration.

3. Install the control unit by pressing it in until it locks.
