Welcome light

If the light switch is left in position 2 or 3 when leaving the vehicle, the parking lights and interior light come on for a short time when the vehicle is subsequently unlocked.

Switching the function on and off

For principles of iDrive operation, refer to.

1. Press the button.

The main menu opens.

2. Press the controller to open the menu.
3. Select "Settings" and press the controller.
4. Select "Vehicle / Tyres" and press the controller.
5. Move to the upper field. Turn the controller to select "Light" and press the controller.

6. Select "Welcome light" and press the controller.

The welcome light function is switched on.

This setting is stored in the memory for the key currently in use.
