Location

The six-disc BMW DVD changer is located in the glove compartment.

Controls and indicators

1 LEDs next to the DVD slot flash to indicate that a disc can be inserted into the slot.

2 DVD compartment keys. The LED in the key lights when the compartment is occupied.

Loading discs into the DVD changer

1. Press the button.

The LED in the button of the first free compartment starts flashing.

2. If desired, select another empty compartment:

press the button....3. When the LEDs 1 next to the DVD slot start flashing, insert the disc into the slot.

It is automatically drawn in and placed into the selected compartment.

Insert the disc only when LEDs 1 are flashing, otherwise there is a risk of damaging the disc or the DVD changer.

Do not push the disc, otherwise it may become jammed in the slot. ◄ 4. To load discs into other compartments, repeat steps 1 to 3.

Loading discs into free compartments

1. Press and hold the button.

The LEDs of the free compartments start flashing.

2. When the LEDs 1 next to the DVD slot start flashing, insert the disc into the slot.

It is automatically drawn in and placed into the first free compartment.

Do not push the disc, otherwise it may become jammed in the slot.◄

3. Wait until the DVD is drawn in and the LEDs 1 next to the compartment start flashing again.

Insert the disc only when LEDs 1 are flashing, otherwise there is a risk of damaging the disc or the DVD changer.◄ 4. To load discs into other compartments, repeat steps 2 to 3.

Removing discs from the DVD changer

1. Press the button.

2. Press the key...of the corresponding compartment.

The disc is ejected from the DVD changer.

3. Remove the disc.

If you do not remove the DVD, it will be drawn back in after 10 seconds.◄

Removing all discs from the DVD changer

1. Press and hold the button.

The discs are ejected from the DVD changer one by one.

2. Remove the DVDs one by one.

Malfunctions

If all LEDs on the CD/DVD changer flash repeatedly, there is a malfunction. In this case, proceed as follows.

1. Press the buttonor.

The last inserted DVD is ejected.

2. Remove the disc.

The DVD changer checks the compartments and the repeated flashing of the LEDs stops. The DVD changer is now ready for operation again.
