Key set

1 Each of these keys with remote control has a long-life battery that is automatically recharged in the ignition lock while driving. To recharge the batteries, use each of the keys at least once every six months. When you unlock the vehicle, the settings of various systems stored in the memory of the key in use are restored, see “Key memory” below.

2 Keep the spare key in a safe place, for example in your wallet. It does not fit the locks of the luggage compartment lid and the glove compartment. This may be useful, for example, at a hotel.

The spare key is not intended for permanent use.
