Dynamic Traction Control (DTC)
DTC improves traction, for example when driving in deep snow. Traction gains are achieved at the expense of stability.
Therefore, be careful when the system is switched on.
Briefly switching on DTC may be useful in the following special situations:
► when driving up a snow-covered slope, on slush or deep snow;
► when rocking the vehicle free from deep snow or loose ground;
► when driving with snow chains.
Switching on DTC

Press the button. The indicator lamp lights up in the instrument cluster.
Switching off DTC
Press the button again. The indicator lamp in the instrument cluster goes out.
Simultaneous deactivation of DTC and DSC

Keep the button pressed until the DSC indicator lamp lights up continuously in the instrument cluster, but for no more than 10 seconds. The stabilizing and traction-enhancing effect of the systems is now switched off. In addition, the stabilizing effect of Active Steering is now also switched off.
A message appears on the control display. Also observe the additional information.
To maintain vehicle stability at the proper level, switch the system back on as soon as possible.
