Activating the arrow view

1. Select "Navigation" and press the controller.

2. Push the controller back twice so the selection marker moves to the second field from the top. Turn the controller to select "Arrow view" and press the controller.

The arrow view appears on the screen.

8 Direction of travel

► Arrow outline:

route guidance to the destination along the calculated route ► Solid arrow:

shows the direction of the calculated route in a straight line when the vehicle is in an area not covered by the navigation DVD (e.g., in a parking garage);

or (in the "Business" navigation system) shows the direction to the destination in a straight line when the navigation DVD is removed and the system could not calculate a route. The arrow view changes before a turn.

To exit the menu, selectand press the controller.
