523i, 525i, 530i: Add 1 L of oil only when the corresponding message appears on the control display.

545i, diesel engines: Add oil only when the level has reached the lower mark on the dipstick. At this level the diagnostic system displays a message.

Add oil before the distance driven since the last check exceeds 200 km, otherwise the engine may be damaged.◄

Store oils and lubricants out of reach of children and observe all instructions on their packaging.

Improper handling of oils and lubricants can be harmful to health.◄

Have oil changes performed only at a BMW service center.
