Tread Depth
In this manual: Vehicle Care
~1min read
Check the tread depth regularly.
For safety reasons, replace the tire when the tread depth is 2-3 mm (4 mm for winter tires).

The legal minimum tread depth (1.6 mm) corresponds to the appearance of the tread wear indicators (TWI).
The locations of the tread wear indicators are marked on the tire sidewall.
If the front tires wear faster than the rear tires, rotate the tires. The tread pattern must keep the original wheel rotation direction.
Tires age even if they are not used. We recommend replacing the set of tires every 6 years.
