Move the shift lever from D to the left, then forward or backward.

переключение на понижающую передачу= downshift

If you select a higher gear at too low a vehicle speed, or a lower gear at too high a vehicle speed, the transmission will not shift.

If engine speed is too low, the transmission automatically downshifts when the vehicle speed falls below the specified value.

At high engine speed, the transmission does not automatically upshift.
