The parking assist system makes parking easier by measuring the distance from the vehicle to obstacles behind it and sounding audible signals. However, this does not in any way relieve the driver of responsibility for maneuvering when parking the vehicle.

The system consists of four ultrasonic sensors in the rear bumper.
