Fuel Grades for Gasoline Engines

~1min read

Use only unleaded gasoline conforming to DIN EN 228 (or an equivalent standard in accordance with Russian legislation).

Standard fuels with similar characteristics and an ethanol content by volume of no more than 10% are permitted.

Use gasoline with the recommended octane rating.

When operating on gasoline with an octane rating that is too low, engine power and torque decrease and fuel consumption increases slightly.

Using gasoline with a low octane rating may cause abnormal combustion and engine damage.
