FAULT READING

  • Mirror fold output fault: open circuit, short to earth, or short between two wires.
  • Mirror left / right movement output fault: short between two wires.
  • Mirror up / down movement output fault: short between two wires.
  • Mirror up / down sensor output fault: out of range.
  • Mirror left / right sensor output fault: out of range.
  • Mirror common output fault: open circuit, short to earth, or short between two wires.
  • Mirror sensor power supply fault.

Actuator tests cannot be performed using the diagnostic tool.

CODING

Coding cannot be performed using the diagnostic tool.

DEGRADED MODE

If the Van network fails:

  • the driver's mirror can still be adjusted,
  • the passenger mirror cannot be adjusted,
  • the reverse gear position indexing is not possible.

mirrors that are in the process of folding continue to the folded position, then unfold.
