COURTESY LAMP FUNCTION

Performance

The courtesy lamp function controls the following lamps:

• 1 W5W bulb for the front courtesy lamp,
• 1 W5W bulb for the rear courtesy lamp,
• 2 W5W bulbs for the footwell lamps.

Switch-on and switch-off conditions

(1) Unless the dome light function is inhibited.

(2) Key presence detection is active for 1 minute after +ACC is switched off. After this time delay, the lighting on key removal function is no longer active.

(3) Immediate switch-off with engine running.

The dome lights always switch on and off gradually.

The interior lighting function has 3 states:

• idle state: dome light function off,
• short lighting: 30-second lighting time delay,
• short lighting: 30-second lighting time delay,

Transitions to a lit state take priority.

Interior lighting function deactivation

The interior lighting can be deactivated by pressing the front dome light push button when it is on with the door open or the key removed. * This operation deactivates the dome light function switch-on, but the map reading lights remain available via their associated switches.

Only a further press on the front dome light push button, with the door open or the key removed, cancels the deactivation of the dome light function.

* One minute after +ACC is switched off, only the door open condition applies.

Note: The front dome light remains operational even if the dome light function is deactivated.

Effect of economy mode

If economy mode is active, switch-on of the dome light, sill and boot light functions is deactivated.

Rear dome light operation

The rear dome light control (two-position push button) can be operated directly by the user or by the BSI.

Note: The rear dome light remains operational even if the dome light function is deactivated.

MAP READING LIGHTS

Performance

The map reading light function is characterised by:

• 1 W5W bulb for the front right map reading light function in the front dome light / reading light assembly,
• 1 W5W bulb for the front left map reading light function in the front dome light / reading light assembly,
• 1 W5W bulb for the rear right map reading light function in the rear dome light / reading light assembly,
• 1 W5W bulb for the rear left map reading light function in the rear dome light / reading light assembly.

The map reading light function is controlled by 4 dedicated switches.

Switch-on and switch-off conditions

Manual operation of the lighting and switch-off of the 4 map reading lights is only effective when +ACC is present and one of the 4 control switches is enabled.

+ACC: Connection point linked to the positive terminal of the vehicle's electrical generators, except when the ignition is off and during starter operation.

Note: The map reading lights operate without gradual transitions when controlled by their switches.

SILL LIGHTING

Performance

The sill lighting function consists of lamps located in the lower part of the door trims.

* A 10-minute time delay is activated when any door is opened.

Note: The sill lights operate without gradual transitions.

STORAGE TRAY

Performance

The storage tray lighting function is provided by a W5W bulb.

VANITY MIRROR LIGHTING

Description

The vanity mirror lighting function is provided by a unit fitted with a W5W bulb.

BOOT LIGHTING

Performance

The boot lighting function is provided by two units fitted with W5W bulbs.

Switch-on and switch-off conditions

* A 10-minute time delay is activated at switch-on.
