Weights (kg)

~5min read

The weights shown apply to the basic vehicle without optional equipment; they vary depending on the equipment fitted. Contact an authorised Dacia dealer.

Four-door versions

Maximum permissible laden mass (MMAC) Maximum technically permissible mass of vehicle (MMTA) Total combination mass (MTR) Masses shown on the manufacturer’s plate (see “Vehicle identification plates” in chapter 6).
Braked trailer mass*

calculated as follows: MTR - MMAC

Unbraked trailer mass*

520

Maximum towball load*

75

Maximum roof load including roof rack equipment

80 (including fixings)

* Trailer mass (towing a caravan, boat, etc.). Towing is prohibited if the value of MTR - MMAC is zero, or if the MTR value is zero (or not stated) on the manufacturer’s plate.

  • Observe local regulations on maximum trailer mass, in particular the Highway Code. For more information on choosing a suitable towbar, contact an authorised Dacia dealer.
  • When towing a trailer, the total combination mass (vehicle + trailer) must not be exceeded. However, the following is permitted:
  • exceeding the rear axle MMTA by up to 15%,
  • exceeding the MAM by up to 10% or up to 100 kg (whichever limit is reached first).

In both cases, the maximum speed of the combination must not exceed 100 km/h, and the tyre pressure must be increased by 0.2 bar (3 PSI).

  • Engine performance, and therefore its ability to climb gradients, decreases the higher the terrain the vehicle is driven on.

We therefore recommend reducing the maximum vehicle load by 10% at an altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level, and by a further 10% for every additional 1,000 metres above sea level.

Load transfer (in accordance with local regulations) If the Maximum Authorised Mass of the vehicle including the load has not been reached, it is possible to transfer up to 300 kg with a braked trailer within the gross combination mass of the vehicle.

The weights shown apply to the basic vehicle without optional equipment; they vary depending on the equipment fitted. Contact an authorised Dacia dealer.
