Wheel Balancing

~1min read

GENERAL INFORMATION.

Wheel balancing is performed to compensate for uneven weight distribution. During driving, imbalance appears as vibration transmitted to the steering wheel. Steering wheel vibration caused by wheel imbalance occurs in a

certain speed range and disappears when speed is reduced or increased.

Wheel imbalance may cause damage to joints, steering components and shock absorbers. Be sure to balance the wheels every 20000 km of vehicle travel or after any tire repair.
