In this manual: KNOW YOUR VEHICLE
~1min read
With one of the Passive Entry fobs within 1.5 m (5 ft) of any front door handle, press the Passive Entry lock button to lock the vehicle.

NOTE:
Do NOT grasp the door handle when pressing the door handle lock button. This could unlock the door(s).

NOTE:
- After pressing the door handle button, you must wait two seconds before you can lock or unlock the doors using any Passive Entry door handle. This allows you to check whether the vehicle is locked by pulling on the door handle without unlocking the vehicle.
- If Passive Entry is disabled using the Uconnect settings, the key protection described in "Integrated Key Fob Transmitter (FOBIK-Safe)" remains active/functional.
- The Passive Entry system will not operate if the fob battery is discharged.
