With a valid Passive Entry fob within 1.5 m (5 ft) of the liftgate, press the button located on the right side of the liftgate.

NOTE:

If you accidentally leave a Passive Entry fob in the liftgate area and attempt to close the liftgate, the liftgate will automatically open if another Passive Entry fob is outside the vehicle and within 5 ft. (1.5 m) of the liftgate.
