A fuse is a protective element for electrical circuits. It blows in the event of a fault or improper intervention in a circuit.
If a device does not work, first check the corresponding fuse. The conductor element a-fig. 47 must not be interrupted; otherwise replace the blown fuse with another of the same amperage (same color).
- intact fuse
- fuse with interrupted fuse element.
Remove the blown fuse with the tweezers d, located on the instrument panel fuse box.
NoteIf the fuse blows again, contact the Fiat service network.

A blown fuse must never be replaced with metal wire or any other material.
NoteNever replace the fuse with one of higher amperage: fire hazard!
NoteIf a main fuse (mega-fuse, midi-fuse, maxi-fuse) has blown, contact the Fiat service network.
Before replacing a fuse, make sure the ignition key is removed and/or all electrical loads are switched off.
