Using the seat belts
Fasten the belt with your back resting against the backrest.
To fasten the seat belt, insert the tongue A-Fig. 1 into the buckle B until it clicks into place.
If the belt locks when pulled out, let it retract briefly and pull it out again, avoiding jerky movements.
To unfasten the belt, press button C. Guide the belt as it retracts so that it does not twist.
The retractor automatically adapts the belt to the occupant's body and allows a certain freedom of movement.

When the vehicle is parked on a steep slope, the retractor may lock, which is quite normal. The retractor mechanism also locks the belt when it is pulled out quickly, during hard braking or in an impact, in jolts, and in corners at increasing speed.
The rear seat is fitted with three-point inertia seat belts with retractors for the outer and centre seating positions.

The rear seat belts must be fastened as shown in diagram Fig. 2.
NoteDo not press button C-Fig. 1 while driving.

Please note: the backrest is correctly latched when the "red band" B-Fig. 3 on the levers A for folding the backrest is no longer visible. This "red band" indicates that the backrest is not latched.
Please note: in a severe impact, unbelted rear passengers pose a risk not only to themselves but also to the passengers in the front seats.
Please note: when the seat is returned to its normal position after folding, make sure the seat belts are correctly positioned so that they are immediately ready for use.
NoteMake sure the backrest is correctly latched on both sides ("red bands" B-Fig. 3 not visible), to prevent the backrest from falling forward and injuring occupants during hard braking.
