Seat belts
USING SEAT BELTS
The driver (and all passengers) must comply with all local legal regulations on the use of seat belts. The back must rest against the seatback with the chest upright. Always fasten your seat belt before starting a journey.
To fasten the belt, grasp the tongue A fig. 46 and insert it into buckle B until you hear a click.
If the belt locks while being pulled out, release the webbing so that it retracts a short distance, then pull it out again, avoiding sudden movements.
To unfasten the belt, press button C fig. 46. When retracting the belt, hold the webbing to prevent it from twisting. The seat belt adjusts automatically to the occupant's body via the retractor, allowing free movement.

Rear seats are fitted with three-point inertia-reel seat belts. Rear seat belts should be fastened as shown in fig. 47 (4-seat versions) / fig.
48 (5-seat versions).

WARNING When returning the rear seatback to its normal position after folding it, make sure the seat belt is correctly positioned so that it can be used directly.
CAUTION
71) Do not press button C fig. 46 while driving.
72) Please note that in a severe collision, unbelted rear seat passengers not only risk serious injury but also pose a serious threat to front seat passengers.
73) Make sure the seatbacks are securely locked on both sides, so that in the event of sudden braking the seatback does not move forward and injure the passengers.
74) The seatback is correctly locked when the "red strip" next to the folding lever is no longer visible. A visible "red strip" indicates that the seatback is not locked. When returning the seatback to the use position, make sure it clicks into place, as indicated by a distinct locking sound.
