WARNING The positive battery terminal (+) is protected by a cover. To access the positive battery terminal, lift this cover.

Proceed as follows:

  • apply the parking brake, move the Dualogic gearbox selector lever to P (Park) or, on a manual gearbox, select neutral, and turn the ignition switch to STOP.

    Switch off all electrical accessories in the vehicle;

  • when jump starting from another vehicle's battery, park the vehicle within reach of the jump leads, apply the parking brake and make sure the ignition is off.

WARNING Avoid contact between the two vehicles, as this may create an earth connection, with a risk of serious injury to persons nearby.
