Door Check

Removal

  1. Open the door.
  2. Remove the check arm bolt.
    Torque: 18 lb-ft (25 N·m)
  3. Disconnect the door electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the bolts.
    Use the common service equipment: door lift
    Torque: 22 lb-ft (30 N·m)
  5. Remove the door.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. Check the alignment and correct if necessary.
    Refer to: Front Door Alignment (501-03 Body Closures, General Procedures).
