If necessary, have the transmission fluid checked and replaced by an authorized dealer with the correct service interval. Refer to Scheduled Maintenance.

The automatic transmission does not have a dipstick for checking the transmission fluid level.

Refer to the Scheduled Maintenance information for scheduled fluid change intervals and inspections. Your transmission does not consume fluid. However, if the transmission slips, shifts slowly, or you notice signs of fluid leakage, contact an authorized dealer.

Do not use transmission fluid additives, conditioners, or cleaning agents. Use of these materials may affect transmission operation and cause damage to internal transmission components.
