Select one of these options to display on the home screen.

1-6 Inch Display Only
2 - Hybrid Only
After Selecting
- Some features offer additional information when you press the OK button.
- You can also press and hold OK to reset the fuel economy, trip, and average speed data.
Fuel Economy
The instant fuel economy gauge is provided together with the average fuel economy. Average fuel economy is continuously averaged since the last reset.
Hybrid Features:
- When the gasoline engine is off, the instant fuel economy gauge is replaced with a message indicating electric driving.
- For plug-in hybrid vehicles, both electric-only and hybrid operation are included in the calculation. More driving on electric power only will result in higher average fuel economy.
While viewing this screen, you can reset the average fuel economy by pressing and holding OK.
Trip 1 and 2
Provides the trip timer, trip average fuel economy, and total trip distance. For hybrid vehicles, the trip also displays the distance traveled on electric power only.
Hybrid Information (If Equipped)
This Trip
Provides the trip timer, trip average fuel economy, total trip distance, and distance traveled on electric power only while the engine is off. If the gasoline engine was not started during the trip, the trip average fuel economy is not displayed. This trip automatically resets each time you start the vehicle.
EV Coach
EV Coach can help you get the most from your vehicle's electric driving and regenerative braking capabilities.
When you accelerate or maintain speed, you will see a solid blue or white bar indicating vehicle power. You may also see a blue rectangular box showing the power level at which the engine will start.
- When your power level is within the box, the bar color turns blue. This means you are operating in electric motor mode and the engine is off.
- When your power level is outside the box, the bar color turns white. This means you are operating in hybrid mode, with the electric motor and engine combined to provide vehicle power.
When you decelerate without touching the accelerator pedal or the brake pedal, you will see a solid green or white bar, which indicates the power being used to slow the vehicle. You may also see a green rectangular box, which shows the amount of energy that can be recovered by the regenerative braking system and returned to the high-voltage battery.
- When your power level is completely within the box, the bar will be all green. This means that the regenerative braking system is being used to efficiently slow the vehicle and return the maximum percentage of energy to the high-voltage battery.
- When your power level is outside the green rectangle, the bar will turn white. This means that both the regenerative braking system and the conventional braking system are being used.
Electric Efficiency
This screen shows the average distance you travel per kWh of electrical energy used by your plug-in hybrid vehicle. The value is calculated only when your available electric range is being used and the gasoline engine is off.
The full-charge distance is also shown. This is the estimated electric driving range you would have if you plugged in and fully charged your vehicle right now. The higher your electric efficiency, the greater the distance on a single full charge.
Your electric efficiency depends on your driving style and route, climate control use, outside temperature, and other factors. The best efficiency is achieved in moderate ambient temperatures with moderate acceleration and braking, moderate speeds, and low climate control use.
