Failure to follow this instruction may result in vehicle damage that is not covered by the Vehicle Warranty.

Prolonged use of Remain in Neutral mode may reduce battery voltage to a level at which the vehicle can no longer start.

Do not tow the vehicle in this mode.

When the gear selector is in Neutral, you can start the vehicle and it will roll freely.

To enter Remain in Neutral mode, perform the following steps:

  1. Bring the vehicle to a complete stop.
  2. Shift into Neutral (N).
  3. Press the Manual (M) button within five seconds after shifting into Neutral.

To exit Neutral Hold mode, press the brake pedal and shift to P (Park) or N (Neutral). Turn off the engine, then press the brake pedal to shift to another range (D or R).
