Switching the System On and Off

Turn the system on or off using the touchscreen. Refer to Settings.

When the system is active, it monitors your alertness level based on your driving behavior relative to lane markings and other factors.

System Warnings

The alert system has two stages. First, the system issues a temporary alert that you need to take a break. This message appears only briefly. If the system detects a further decrease in driving alertness, it may issue another alert that remains on the information display for a longer time. You can press OK on the steering wheel controls to clear the alert.

System Reset

You can reset the system in one of the following ways:

  • Turn the ignition off and on.
  • Stop the vehicle, then open and close the driver door.
