Setting the System Speed Warning

The system has several speed warning levels that you can set using the information display. Refer to General Information.

System Display

The system can display two traffic signs at the same time.

You can view the status at any time using the information display.

The system displays recognized traffic signs in four stages as follows:

  1. All new traffic signs are displayed brighter than the others.
  2. After a set time, they are displayed normally.
  3. After a set distance, they turn gray.
  4. After another set distance, they are removed.

If the system detects an additional traffic sign, it is displayed below the corresponding traffic sign. For example, when passing a reduced speed sign on a wet road.

If your vehicle has a navigation system, stored traffic sign data may affect the displayed speed limit value.

Switching the System On and Off

You can turn the system on and off using the information display. Refer to General Information.
