Removal

NOTICE: Suspension fasteners are critical parts that affect the performance of vital components and systems. Failure of these fasteners may result in major service expense. Use the same or equivalent parts if replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.

  1. Remove the brake rotor.
    Refer to: Brake Rotor (206-03 Front Disc Brake, Removal and Installation).
  2. Remove the wheel stud.
    Use the special service tool: 211-001 (TOOL-3290-D) Remover, tie rod end.

Installation

    • Position the wheel stud in the flange, making sure the serrations on the stud align with the serrations on the flange. Install the washers and wheel nut.
    • Remove the wheel nut and washers. Discard the wheel nut.
  2. Install the brake rotor.
    Refer to Brake Rotor (206-03 Front Disc Brake, Removal and Installation).
