Audio system display Remedy
CHECK CD General CD player error message, e.g. the CD cannot be read or a data CD has been inserted, etc.

Make sure the disc is inserted correctly. Clean it and try again, or replace the disc with another music CD you know works. If the error persists, contact an authorized Kia dealer. CD PLAYER MALFUNCTION General CD player error message indicating a possible mechanical malfunction PLAYER HIGH TEMP. Ambient temperature too high. The unit will not operate until it cools down. IPOD DEVICE ACCESS ERROR General iPod error message, e.g. data cannot be read. Make sure the iPod is connected correctly. If the error persists, contact an authorized Kia dealer.
